We understand what it takes to succeed in today’s market place, as our Symposium is organized and staffed by over 50 individuals, most volunteers, who are currently supporting these disciplines in some form or fashion.
Senior Technical Advisor to the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation
Dr. Freeman serves as a senior advisor to DOT&E on matters related to the test and evaluation of all acquisition programs in the Department of Defense. She focuses on promoting the use of scientific and statistical methods in all operational test plans and test reports. Technical focus areas include expanding and improving the use of experimental design, statistical analyses, reliability analyses, modeling and simulation validation, and capturing human/system interactions.
Previously, Dr. Freeman was an Assistant Director to IDA’s Operational Evaluation Division. Dr. Freeman led the Test Science Task providing support to the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation on the use of statistics in test and evaluation. She has worked on a variety of DoD programs including command and control, undersea warfare, strike fighters, air-to-ground and air-to-air weapon systems, and business systems. Her most recent focus has been operational test planning for the F-35.
Dr. Freeman has a Masters and Ph.D. in Statistics from Virginia Tech. She also has a B.S in Aerospace Engineering. Her research areas include industrial statistics, experimental design, and reliability analysis.
