John G. Smith travels nation-wide offers his thought-provoking Integrity in Action workshops to help companies create workplaces of integrity. He also offers keynotes where he explores the consequences of ethical and unethical behavior and conscious integrity with all types and sizes of audiences. John is a Financial Executive and CPA turned Integrity & Ethics Speaker and Trainer, and author of Embracing the Abyss (2017): The true story of his unknowingly becoming part of a fraud scandal, receiving a Presidential Pardon and being surprised by a spiritual awakening.
John Smith was born in Nashville and raised in Oklahoma City and Dallas and is a Vietnam Veteran. After returning to the U.S. (Welcome home Johnny!) he was the honor graduate of his Army Drill Sergeant School. Obtaining an early release to attend college, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Texas State University with a BBA in Accounting. He became a CPA and spent five years in public accounting, and after the S&L crisis became an active supporter of affordable housing.
